I don't think cancer research should ever be given up on. It's important to find a cure and help people. If people give up on researching about cancer, it gives patients suffereing from illness no reason to be optimistic.

I think it's a shame to see companies giving up. Although it's costly, I think it's extremely important to find the cure.
